Description<\/strong><br><br>FORTAPAZ II was a project aimed at strengthening the economic autonomy and leadership of women and youth, cross-cuttingly integrating the prevention of gender-based violence as a key condition for the exercise of rights and social participation.<br><br>The project was implemented in the municipalities of La Paz and El Alto, providing continuity to the processes initiated in FORTAPAZ I and deepening the work on economic capacities, leadership, and violence prevention, using a gender and human rights approach adapted to local contexts.<br><br><strong>What do we work on? \/ Our focus<\/strong><br><br>During the implementation of FORTAPAZ II, actions were focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-fab3d91403f5c68de6a15f550d54b137\">\u2022 Strengthening the economic autonomy of women and youth.<br>\u2022 Capacity building for income generation and economic management.<br>\u2022 Training in personal finance as a basis for informed decision-making.<br>\u2022 Strengthening community leadership with a gender approach.<br>\u2022 Prevention of gender-based violence through educational and community processes.<br>\u2022 Promotion of social participation and networking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-03b9f3aa8b7d281ef52f32ef5d867806\"><br><strong>Who do we work with?<\/strong><br><br>The project was developed with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2c495aec8f8cb9ab5ffc8114a899c1e1\">\u2022 Adolescent, young, and adult women.<br>\u2022 Youth in situations of social and economic vulnerability.<br>\u2022 Community women leaders and youth representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d23981f5cc8688730f5c25416823ea2\"><br>And in coordination with:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b782e54591b1505e97183860ebfd1e64\">\u2022 Social and community organizations within the territory.<br>\u2022 Local public institutions linked to gender, youth, and social development.<br>\u2022 Allied entities committed to violence prevention and economic empowerment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-96bef67e72abc41fd383407f9d41f1b0\"><br><strong>How did we implement it?<\/strong><br><br>FORTAPAZ II was implemented through a training and community-based methodology, which combined:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-6cb5b4648e8a05871260a0424091ed3d\">\u2022 In-person workshops and experiential training spaces.<br>\u2022 Capacity building processes in economic autonomy and leadership.<br>\u2022 Spaces for reflection on gender, rights, and violence prevention.<br>\u2022 Support and guidance for individual and collective processes.<br>\u2022 Coordination with community and institutional networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7ad48728ac12ebc2cac37dc02f14785d\"><br>The project emphasized the link between economic autonomy and the reduction of violence, promoting comprehensive and sustained processes over time.<br><br><strong>Key results<\/strong><br><br>Among the primary achievements of FORTAPAZ II, the following stand out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-8bc7343d4e1b8ac113a92b47328ec6f2\">\u2022 Strengthening of economic and leadership capacities in women and youth.<br>\u2022 Increased awareness and tools for the prevention of gender-based violence.<br>\u2022 Incorporation of personal finance practices for economic autonomy.<br>\u2022 Strengthening of community leadership committed to gender equality.<br>\u2022 Consolidation of local support networks and community coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-f1e1c27588d07d2e42ecc27df726f6fb\"><br><strong>Lessons learned and contributions<\/strong><br><br>FORTAPAZ II allowed for the identification of key lessons, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c267e6b30674b9bb3d8861d5311cca24\">\u2022 The importance of addressing economic autonomy alongside violence prevention.<br>\u2022 The value of comprehensive educational processes over isolated actions.<br>\u2022 The need to strengthen local leadership for the sustainability of the processes.<br>\u2022 The relevance of community support in contexts of vulnerability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-gv-color-text-primary-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-155b9567494678d4ce2d04123e2de7bf\"><br>These lessons contributed to the methodological evolution of the FORTAPAZ process and the design of subsequent interventions.<br><br><strong>Continuity of the process<\/strong><br><br>FORTAPAZ II provided continuity to FORTAPAZ I and laid the foundations for the development of FORTAPAZ III, progressively deepening the work on economic autonomy, leadership, and the empowerment of women and youth.<br><br>In this way, the project became a key stage of transition and consolidation within SSF Bolivia's
