Mission

To contribute to the development and well-being of women, adolescents, youth, and communities in vulnerable situations, promoting the full exercise of rights, gender equality, and social justice through educational, community, and capacity-building processes.

Vision

General objective

To contribute with new projects to the construction of a more just society, with gender equality and free from violence, where women are the protagonists, promoting them to the recognition and exercise of their rights.

What do we do?

The work of SSF Bolivia is organized into strategic lines of action that comprehensively address gender inequalities and the social challenges faced by women, adolescents, and youth. These lines are developed through participatory, innovative, and contextualized approaches aimed at social transformation and the full exercise of rights.

Economic Empowerment and Employability

We promote the economic autonomy of women and youth through training processes, mentorship, and the generation of opportunities. We incorporate innovative approaches such as the circular economy, as well as green and sustainable economies, in response to the social, environmental, and labor challenges of the current context. Transformative Leadership and Youth Participation

We strengthen youth and community leadership with a gender and human rights focus, driving active participation, social advocacy, and the building of networks that promote sustainable changes within their communities. See more »»»

Prevention of Gender-Based Violence and Promotion of Diverse Masculinities

We develop educational and community processes aimed at preventing gender-based violence from a gender and human rights perspective. This includes integrating actions to promote diverse, co-responsible, and non-violent masculinities. These processes also incorporate the prevention of digital violence and address the inequalities that are reproduced in virtual environments. See more »»»

Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE)

We develop and strengthen comprehensive sexuality education processes from a rights, gender, and care perspective. We create participatory methodologies, educational materials, and spaces for reflection that promote consent, informed decision-making, and the full exercise of sexual and reproductive rights. Volunteering and International Cooperation

We promote volunteering and international cooperation experiences aimed at mutual learning and social transformation, coordinating the exchange of capacities between territories and organizations. We design onboarding, mentorship, and training processes for volunteers, strengthening local networks and contributing to community initiatives from a gender, human rights, and intercultural perspective. Nuestro trabajo

Solidaridad Sin Fronteras Bolivia está orientado a visibilizar a la mujer, adolescentes y jóvenes, como sujeto de derecho y empoderarla a través de nuestros proyectos, dotándoles de conocimiento, detección, sensibilización, concientización, prevención y respuesta individual y comunitaria a toda forma de discriminación, en especial a lo referente a la desigualdad y violencia de género.

Estructura

SSF-Bolivia se compone de un grupo de profesionales altamente formados en distintas especialidades y con gran experiencia en los ámbitos de la acción social, la defensa de poblaciones vulnerables, la defensa de los derechos humanos y en cooperación internacional.
